Day 30 - The Story of Us

The story of us is being written

It has not yet been fully wrote

Time dilation withstanding

Our best moments have yet to be spoke

I have found this tale to be filled

With words and lyrics that inspire

My heart to relax defenses

And ignite such passionate fire

No tale can exist without struggle

For struggle defines the plot

And every good story needs adversity

So characters discover their part

This story of us is unfolding

Revealing hidden pain and fear

But such love we feel erupting

Will carry our hearts through the tears

I make no apologies for believing

The characters are equipped for the task

Of loving each other completely

And overcoming the scars of the past

This story provides a sneak peak

Of the days that exist just ahead

They are filled with sweet surrender

As everything will begin in bed

We develop the plot together

Knowing this one thing from the start

Our lives have been connected

Although we live 4,086 miles apart

We have yet to uncover the details

Of the prequel to this story of us

For it occurred in a dimension and time

That predates our corporeal existence

But blessed is the heart for understanding

This unknown union exists

For it serves our tale as an anchor

And the plot as a beautiful twist

So we read our story together

Drawing close when it fills us with fear

And sit in eager anticipation

Even when it brings us to tears

No story can ever be written

To match our cosmic and divine alignment

For Reddit was the platform that found us

Revealing the destiny of our assignment

This poem has grown so long

I must bring it to a close

But know this simple thing, my moon
